2 or 3 years ago, I was told that I had an infection in the gum above my upper two front teeth. My NHS dentist referred me to an ENT hospital department because he was not qualified to deal with it. The hospital dentist decided to remove 3 upper front teeth to cure the problem and my NHS dentist was able to crown 2 and give me a bridge of 3. Whilst making the bridge I needed a temporary denture. ‘Disgusting’! Each time I inserted the ‘plate’ I heaved and then on removal had the disgusting job of cleaning food from the denture which had accumulated during the day.
Just recently the crowns decayed and the bridge fell off leaving me with 5 upper front teeth missing! The dentist advised me that the only option was a denture. “No Thanks!”, but what could I do? Implants, I thought, were out of the question because of cost.
I was lucky to find The Dental Tourist website. After reading many of the testimonials, I contacted some of the authors who had been treated by Dr. Z. Popadic and his team in Croatia and I was ‘on my way’. With the help of Dr. Popadic and his team, my flights, transfers, accommodation and appointments were made and within 4 weeks the work was done.
I had 6 teeth on 4 implants completed within 2 days of my arrival and with no need for a denture, even temporarily! I was able to enjoy meals from day one without pain and enjoyed a great week in Croatia with my family of 4 adults and 2 babies.
Rovinj in Croatia is a beautiful little fishing village; a very appealing and interesting place to visit; people are very friendly and the Adriatic is warm!
I cannot speak too highly of Dr. Popadic and his team. They are all extremely caring, understanding, reassuring and above all very skilled. I felt completely safe in their hands and I am confident in recommending all concerned to trust them for any dental treatment you may require.
