In the heart of Rovinj, on the main square a very short walk to some decent food, bars and cafes. Comfortable rooms offer a unique view of the city harbor, St. Catherine's Island and the old town. if you like early mornings then this is the place for you as you can guarantee that the fishing boats in the harbour will wake you unless you've had an excess of grappa. The coffee here is to die from. Note not die for but die from. Breakfast is 'different'. Always very friendly and accommodating especially at 5 in the morning when your friend is having a heart attack.

The Hotel Park is the first hotel I stayed in. Park is the operative name as there is parking unlike some of the hotels. The breakfast here is pretty good and the rooms are excellent. However watch your fingers at the bar because they like to shut up shop fairly early. It's a good ten minute walk from the centre of town but you don't get much noise from the fishing boats. I believe it's part of the Sol group.
The Hotel Park is situated in a stunning Istrian town that stands out by its beauty and historical heritage. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still near the town centre, just off the beach as if nestled into the scents of the clime and vegetation. A view shoots out from the hotel and terrace windows onto a small harbour teeming with boats and yachts, to the unusually attractive island of Sveta Katarina opposite the hotel and off further to the old town core and the soothing open waters in the distance. It is an urban hotel, open year-round, with a combined congress and vacation offer. During the summer months it is predominantly targeted to guests coming for a vacation, while operations during the pre- and post-seasons are based predominantly on seminars and business meetings of special interest groups, athletes and recreational travellers seeking the kind of adequate accommodations and services this hotel offers.
